Cake Mail is owned and operated by Sugar High Australia Pty Ltd (ACN: 612 912 848). By accessing, browsing or using this website, you agree to the conditions and terms stated.
Cake Mail may amend these conditions and terms from time to time and any amendment will become effective immediately.
Cancellations and Refunds
For orders that have not yet been delivered
We accept cancellations and will provide a full refund if orders are cancelled 2 business days prior to the specified delivery date, and if the chefs have not started preparing the order. If an order is requested to be cancelled within 2 business days, a $25 administration fee is applied. The customer will receive the full refund less the fee. Orders cannot be cancelled on the day of delivery.
For orders already delivered
If in any case the customer is not satisfied with the product they receive, the customer must email us at email@example.com within 3 days of the order delivery date. We will assess your claim and determine if we can offer a refund based on the situation. If your order is eligible for a refund as per the above conditions, we will refund the full amount as store credit on our website.
We deliver Sydney wide and selected surrounding suburbs. Delivery takes place between 8am to 6pm on the day selected. We are unable to specify an exact time for delivery. The $10-$15 delivery fee is payable in addition to the cost of your order and will be charged at check-out.
Whilst every effort is made to adhere to the above delivery schedule, we use external couriers for all our deliveries, and occasionally situations arise which are out of our control resulting in slight delays in the above time frames. We cannot accept responsibility for these unfortunate events, but assure you that every effort is made to ensure your goods arrive on time and in perfect condition.
If there is no one to accept a delivery at the specified address and time, the order may be left at the door (if it is safe to do so). Please note we will not be responsible for “melted” or “invested” product as it is the customers responsibility to attend to the cake. If there is no where safe to leave the cake or the driver can not access a building, the number registered with the order will be contacted. If the customer can not be contacted, the cake will be returned to Cake Mail and a re delivery fee will apply.
Should the delivery address supplied by the customer be incorrect or insufficient details (including contact details) are provided, Cake Mail cannot accept any responsibility. It is the obligation of the customer to supply accurate details at the time of order.
If we are supplied with an incorrect address or the customer wishes to change the address on the day of delivery, the cake will be re-directed back to CakeMail and a re delivery fee will apply.
If in any case, the customer does not want a re delivery, the customer will receive a partial refund (50%) of the cost of the cake and any addition add-ons purchased as a store credit, but not the delivery fee .
If a company name is not stated on the order and it is going to a company, the item is at risk of being incorrectly delivered. Cake Mail will not take any responsibility for this as it is the customers responsibility to ensure sufficient delivery details are provided.
All our products may contain allergens, such as nuts and eggs.
Some of our products are vegan, dairy and gluten free.
Mini – 4 inch diameter (4 Serves)
Small – 5 inch diameter (8 Serves)
Regular – 6 inch diameter (12 Serves)
Large – 7 inch diameter (16 serves)
Party – Tall 7 inch diameter with a height of 8 inches
All our 4-7 inch cakes have a height of approximately 5-6 inches
We reserve the right to substitute cake flavours and decorations on our cakes subject to availability. All cakes are hand made which means slight imperfections and variations can occur.
