How do I make a gender reveal cake at home?
Bake a vanilla cake, hide coloured sprinkles inside, and cover it in white icing so the colour shows when it is cut.
- Bake two vanilla sponge layers and let them cool.
- Cut a hole in the centre of the bottom layer.
- Fill the hole with blue or pink sprinkles or lollies.
- Stack the top layer and cover the cake in white or vanilla icing.
- Add a topper and cut the cake at the party.
