Order Enquiries

  • How do I order for Sunday?

    Unfortunately we are closed on Sunday. You will have to order for the previous Saturday and store the cake in a fridge overnight. Take the cake out of the fridge 5-6 Hours before consuming.

  • How do I place an order?

    All orders and payments are processed via our website.

  • Do you offer last minute delivery?

    Yes we do. the Cake Gods are here to save your day! We offer same day delivery if you order before 12pm on weekdays and we will deliver your cake by 5:30pm. If you miss the 12pm cut off time, you can pick up your cake from our Smithfield warehouse, contact us on 02 8223 4856. For Saturdays, we offer next day delivery if you order by 3pm on Friday.

  • What payment methods are available?

    We accept Mastercard, Visa, Amex & AFTERPAY.

  • Can I make any changes to my order details after it has been placed?

    Cake Mail will accept any changes to addresses, delivery dates, messages and products, if Cake Mail is provided with 24 hours notice via email (, prior to the delivery date scheduled.

  • Can I cancel/refund my order?

    Orders can be cancelled and a full refund will be issued, if Cake Mail is provided with 48 hours notice via email (, prior to the delivery date scheduled.

  • Do you do bulk orders?

    Absolutely! Please email us at, if you wish to place an order of 10+ cake and we will make this happen! Our team will be happy to help out with corporate enquiries.

  • Do you include any receipts/billing information?

    Absolutely not! We do not include any prices, receipts or billing information, we only include the shipping information.

  • Can I send a cake anonymously?

    To all you secret admirers, we do not disclose any billing information with the recipient and this will ALWAYS stay confidential!

  • Why Isn't the delivery calendar loading?

    1. Remove the item from your cart. 2. Add the item back into the cart.


  • Where do you deliver to?

    Cake Mail delivers to Sydney & Melbourne as well as selected surrounding suburbs.

  • What are your delivery times?

    Deliveries regularly take place between Monday to Friday at 12:30pm to 5.30pm. Saturday deliveries regularly take place between 8:00am-2:00pm.

    Delays may occasionally occur, due to heavy traffic or road work, however we will do our best to deliver close to the time-frame specified.

  • Can you request specific delivery times?

    We are unable to specify an exact time for delivery, as all delivery drivers must follow a specific route to deliver all cakes by the times listed previously.

    Please Note: We are unable to prioritise any delivery addresses, under any circumstances.

  • What is the cost of delivery?

    We charge a $10 flat rate to any suburb in Sydney, Wollongong & Melbourne Metropolitan.

  • What if nobody is home to accept the delivery?

    If someone is not there to accept the product, it will be left at the front door (if it is safe to do so) and you will be notified via email tracking.

    You will receive a tracking link that will provide you with contact to your delivery driver, in here you will be able to direct your driver to leave your product wherever you would like on your premises or with a neighbour.

    If your order is directed to an apartment, business or school, we will offer redelivery the following day to the same or different address.

  • Can we deliver to hotels, businesses or schools?

    We do offer delivery to all of the above. However, we do not recommend sending cakes to locations that are unavailable to accept the delivery up to 5:30pm.

    We cannot, under any circumstances, accommodate deliveries to a specific time.

  • Can I track my order?

    Absolutely! You will receive tracking on the day of delivery as soon as your delivery driver picks up your cake and begins his dispatch route (Approx. 1pm).

  • Can I leave any delivery instructions?

    Yes. You can add any delivery notes to the driver via tracking link, which you will receive on the day of your scheduled delivery.

Product Enquiries

  • Can you customise or alter the flavours/decorations listed on your website?

    Unfortunately not. We are unable to make any amendments or customisations to the product range that is listed on the website, as we do cater to a large amount of orders per day.

    If you are based in Sydney, we do offer The Selfie Cake, which you can upload any photo you want which will be a repeated image printed on the cake. This includes the recipient, yourself, any graphic, logo or character of your choice. The possibilities are endless!

  • What are the sizes of your cake?

    We offer three sizes of our cakes which increase in diameter. The height of our cakes are between 4-5 inches depending on the top decorations. All three sizes are not available for all cakes, we only offer the sizes listed in the dropdown bar of that specific product.

    Gift - 4 inch diameter (serves 4)
    Standard - 6 inch diameter (serves 12)
    Party - 8 inch diameter (serves 25)

  • How do I store my cake?

    Do not store your Cake Mail in a fridge.

    We have worked hard with our amazing bakers and cake decorators to create cakes that are delicious at first bite and best consumed when stored in a cool, dry place. If you refrigerate and consume your cake right away, this will cause the cake to harden and dry out.

    If you wish to consume your cake the day following delivery, please refrigerate your cake overnight in our packaging and let it sit in a cool, dry place 5-6 hours prior to consumption.

    If you have ordered a Selfie Cake, do not refrigerate this cake UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE as the edible image will bubble and cause the edible ink to leak.

  • How long can I consume my cake from delivery?

    Whilst our cake is best consumed on the day of delivery, our cakes last up to 5 days from delivery.

  • Do your products contain nuts?

    Some of our products do contain nuts. These products include the Ferrero Fountain (peanuts), The (Insta-famous) Nutella Ooze (hazelnuts), Kinder Ooze (hazelnuts), Scotch & Cake (peanuts), Gluten Free Nutella Deluxe (hazelnuts), It’s Wine o’ clock (peanuts) & The Bueno Surprise (hazelnuts).

    All our other cakes contain traces of nuts. If you're ordering for someone with allergies, we recommend reading the full product description for ingredients and whether the product contains nuts or simply traces of nuts.

  • Are your cakes Halal or contain Alcohol/Animal Fat?

    All our cakes are Halal friendly and do not contain alcohol or animal fat within the cake or frosting. Although there is no alcohol contained in the cake, we do have certain designs that include sealed alcohol bottles as a top decorator. These products include Scotch & Cake, Wine-O-Clock & Tipsy Cake.

  • What cake do you recommend?

    We absolutely recommend our Ferrero Fountain cake, it has an element of drama with the ‘fountaining’ effect and absolutely tastes SPECTACULAR & SUPER INDULGENT! This is our Sydney & Melbourne team’s favourite cake!
